Oh, how happy I am, to have discovered Teeny Tini – the most ADORABLE hand-crocheted range of baby clothing by JK Lange! Crocheting techniques of which I didn’t even know existed, are combined in a patch-work like way to create extremely original and darling dresses, dungarees, sleeping bags and more. I’m really loving this collection!

Ava has a dress and short dungarees and she is so seriously sweet in them. And I’m sure when she starts walking she will look even more irresistible! The quality of the yarn Julia uses is great, nice and thick but always natural (think wool, cotton and silk) so great for all year round. And the fact that sizes run big and wool is stretchy means that these pieces can be worn for a very, very long time (Ava just turned one and is still wearing a size 6 months)!

Brand highlights
Bubble's inaugural London edition proved a sophisticated, welledited
and creative affair, attracting high-calibre attendees. WGSN
offers exclusive coverage from the show.
Following its success as a high-quality New York tradeshow, Bubble made
an impressive debut into the UK market with its first London show
attracting top buyers from hard-to-reach places, including Harvey Nichols
and Harrods.
Following a similar format to its US counterpart, the show itself was a
stylish affair, set in the smaller - and therefore more intimate - venue of
Olympia 2 in London's Kensington.
Around 70 exhibitors showcased a range of directional kid's apparel,
lifestyle products and accessories, having been handpicked by the show's
organisers, Vanessa Boz and Florence Ronaldo, for their more creative
approach to design.

TEENYTINI by JK Lange
Set up in 2005 by Julia Lange, teenytini creates handmade, one-off
crochet garments and accessories. Natural dyes and yarns are used
for an eco approach.
Inspired by artists such as Cézanne and Van Gogh, it creates knitted
collages of blended stripes and patches, recently adding in circles
and swirls as seen in the eye-catching blanket design.
Variations in production, depending on yarn availability, are intrinsic
to the individual approach, so Lange works closely with customers to
come up with colour groups for deliveries. The advantage for
customers wanting unique designs is that they be more involved in the
creative process.
As well as the UK, other important existing markets for teenytini are
Ireland and Scandinavia, with Denmark in particular loving the bright
colour and eclectic design.
Currently the collection caters for baby/toddler up to two years, but
there are plans to expand the age range in future.

There is something so anti-fashion about these hand-made baby clothes. They are irresistible because of their refusal to show off a child's clothing as a reflection of the parent's taste and success. They are so retro. Each one is unique. All of the clothes are made in the U.K., crocheted by hand by a group of women.They are made of high quality natural fibres--cotton, silk or cashmere and dyed with natural colours so they are soft on a baby's skin.
Their German creator started as a clothing designer, worked with luxury brands and then decided to give it up and focus her creativity on her first love--children's wear. She is too young to even remember the hippy days but somehow the look has been reborn in her crotchet needles. The colours are wild---nothing matches anything. Little girls dresses and jumpers, over-alls, sweet little shoes and scarves are a riotous mis-match of fun. With all the patches, stripes, and bright colours the dirt couldn't possibly show.
